You spent decades doing what was expected.
What if the next chapter was about what you wanted?
I thought, I have no purpose anymore. Honestly, I don't even know what I want. For a long time, my life happened to me, schedules and expectations and other people's needs, and somewhere in there I lost track of my own desire.
Are you familiar with the psalm... Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart's desires...? What if our desire is holy, purposed, and intended to be nurtured and grown? Because it is divinely inspired.
Here's what I've come to believe: desire isn't selfish, and it isn't frivolous. It's data. An invitation, even. The pull you feel toward certain people, certain places, certain ways of spending a Tuesday afternoon, that's information about what actually brings you alive. Most of us were never taught to trust it. Some of us might have even been taught to discredit it.
This is a season of choice, not obligation. You get to curate your work instead of being beholden to it, to choose it instead of letting it choose you. That's not selfish. That's freedom, and it might be the start of rediscovering exactly what the next chapter of your purpose actually looks like.
The 100 Desires challenge is a two week email journey, ten weekdays, one short audio prompt each day, walking you through generating ten desires at a time until you've named a hundred things you actually want. No homework that feels like homework. No pressure. Just permission, and a little nudge each day to notice what's true.
